Hans Lüdemann
was born 1961 in Haumburg. He studied classical piano at the Hamburg conservatory and Jazz piano at the Musikhochschule Köln and the Banff Centre/Canada. His international career started in 1985 in the group of Eberhard Weber/Jan Garbarek. As a composer he has created a body of works form solo to orchestral music. In 1999, he foundet the TRIO IVOIRE with Aly Keita, in 2009 the trio ROOMS with Sebastien Boisseau and Dejan Terzic. For the CD box „die kunst des trios“ he won the „Echo Jazz“ award 2013. Yves Robert
studied flute and trombone at the conservatoire Vichy for 9 years. He quickly felt attracted by the energy and fiery passion of Jazz. As a talented improviser he has become a reference for the trombone in contemporary Jazz on the biggest stages in Europe. Aside from that, he writes music for documentary films and ballett and has been present with his own trios and quartets and the big band „Les Improvisateurs Réunis“. Silke Eberhard
The alto saxophon and clarinet player studied at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin and afterwards in a master class with Dave Liebman in the US. Besides her experiences in different trios she toured around the world as a member of interdisciplinary dance and theater projects in cooperation with the Goethe institute and DAAD. Alexandra Grimal
graduated as a master student of John Ruocco in Jazz saxophone from the royal conservatory Den Haag, Netherlands. She also studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris and the Sibelius - Academy Helsinki. She is laureate of the Jean-Luc Lugardére foundation, recipient of MacDowell scholarships in 2010 and 2012 and Travitian scholarship in 2011. Grimal is the founder of two quartets in Europe and the US and works together with Marc Ducret and Benoit Delbeq. Théo Ceccaldi
was born in 1986 in Orleans. He is violon and viola player, improviser and composer. He teaches at the Paris conservatory. In 2011, his „Théo Ceccaldi Trio“ won the first prize in the Jazz competition of Orleans. With Roberto Negro he founded the quartet „La Scala“ and with member of „Marcel & Solange“ das Quintett „Toons“. 2012 he was co-founder of „Tricollectif“ and joined the ONJ in 2014. Ronny Graupe
The guitarist was born in 1979 in Karl-Marx-Stadt (today Chemnitz). He played in regional youth orchestras, before studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy“ in Leipzig and at Conservatory in Copenhagen/Denmark. In 2012 he became teacher for Jazz guitar at the University of the Arts in Bern, Switzerland. Jean-Marc Toussaint says about him: „Ronny Graupe is a remarkable German guitarist, perhaps the most remarkable of his generation“. Sebastien Boisseau
Living in Nantes, France, he is a co-owner of Yolk records. He has become one of the most in demand bass player in Europe. As a reference his style of playing could be placed somewhere between Jean Francois Jenny - Clark, Marc Johnson and Scott LaFaro. He composes for his projects „Wood“ and „Unit“ and is part of a number of European jazz bands. In recent projects he has worked with Uri Caine, Jeff Ballard, Samuel Blaser, John Hollenbeck and Rita Marcotulli. www.sebastienboisseau.com

Dejan Terzic
At age six he started learning piano but decided to switch to drums at age twelve. He studied at the conservatory and the Musikhochschule of Nürnberg, Germany and extended his studies in New York City. He gained attention as „best drummer“ on a number of international festivals and is part of several trios, among them the „Nostalgia Trio“ of Nils Wogram and the trio ROOMS. Current projects of his own are the groups „Melanoia“ and „Axiom“. In 2014, Terzic was awarded the „ECHO Jazz“ as best drummer.
